The Judicial Temperament of Justice Gangbang
“The Supreme Court on Friday announced it will review Louisiana abortion restrictions that could leave the state with just one abortion provider, in a case that gives the high court’s new conservative majority a chance to redefine abortion rights. The Louisiana law would require doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges to a nearby hospital. It is similar to a Texas law the Supreme Court struck down in 2016 …
“The decision to take the case means the Supreme Court will likely weigh in on abortion amid a presidential campaign in which access to the procedure is already poised to be a top issue. The soonest the court will hear the case is this fall, with a decision likely in 2020.”
As I’m sure our esteemed host knows, overturning Roe in an election year would be galvanizing for libs (however defined) and so Roberts will vote to wait another day. That means (unless he is really stupid) he will vote against supporting this obnoxious LA decision. But what do I know.

I’m amazed that the SCOTUS voted to take up the case, tbh.
The Virgin Mayor Of Keg City is the only difference over previous years, so he’s already having an impact.
Roberts will be the deciding factor, but I don’t hold much hope.

In more rational times, the idea is that Roe is considered established precedent and that upholding it continues to give morally bankrupt republicans the one issue that they can use to infuriate and galvanize support from evangelicals as well as receiving tons of donated money. However, the reign of dickstain donnie is nowhere near rational nor competent and they (republicans) have all gotten cocky following their leader’s outright contempt of norms. You can expect a judgement that will render death to abortion of a thousand cuts that will ultimately put its fate to the states.

“And after due deliberations, we have decided that this matter should return to the Appeals Court, to be adjudicated further, as there is more evidence to be considered, and more testimony to be gathered, before our Court can make a truly well-informed decision.”
THAT’S the outcome MY Quatloos are wagered on.

The RNC/$$$ establishment does not want Roe overturned.
It is too useful to keep the fetus fondlers fired up every election and keep them in power.
