Activism Works

Just whip ’em out an measure ’em, boys.

Chain stores CVS, Walgreens, and Wegmans Food Market joined Kroger and Walmart requesting that customers do not openly carry firearms in their stores, even where state laws allow it.

This is very good news! Even if the Republicans will not allow the government to act on gun violence, we still have the ability to make positive change. Activism works:  Walgreens recognized Moms Demand Action in their decision.

If you have one of these stores in your hometown, thank them.

This is not only HOW it’s going to work, (effective gun control,) but how it HAS TO. Public demand for Those In Charge to DO something, ANYTHING, is too high to ignore any longer, although i’m certain Moscow Mitch will remain clueless to the bitter end – Jan. 21st, 2021.

Baby steps, to be sure, but that’s how we all learned to walk. Increment by increment, we’ll slowly but surely make progress, and at times it will be difficult to discern such progress, but this is such a complicated, multi-faceted, enigmatic problem that there’s no easy solution, and in fact, ANY solutions will be hard-fought-for. But I envision a “snowball-to-avalanche” momentum will kick in, as the movement gains popularity, and more and more highly-visible, “public figures” jump on the bandwagon.

One MAGA hat-wearing goon sneered that he’ll take his business elsewhere. Go ahead, you turd, and I won’t run into you when I go shopping.
