Gun Debate: Opinions Differ!

Jr. Mints and Poo

They’re on, they’re off, who knows what Comrade Stupid and his gun expert Junior Mints are really thinking? Haha, trick question! What’s in it for them is always the answer to that question!

The WaPo tells us that the Republicans are so desperate to do nothing that Prznint Stupid now wants to identify potential mass shooters based on behavioral indicators, rather than just make it harder for people to get guns.

“The proposal is part of a larger initiative to establish a new agency called the Health Advanced Research Projects Agency or HARPA, which would sit inside the Health and Human Services Department. Its director would be appointed by the president, and the agency would have a separate budget, according to three people with knowledge of conversations around the plan…”
“The Suzanne Wright Foundation re-approached the administration last week and proposed that HARPA include a “Safe Home” — “Stopping Aberrant Fatal Events by Helping Overcome Mental Extremes” — project. Officials discussed the proposal at the White House last week, said two people familiar with the discussions. These people and others spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the conversations.”

If it has a cool acronym like SAFEHOME, Stupid will be all over it, except it has too many letters and he’ll eff-it-up, bigly.

Kreskin you do not have to be to know how Hair Füror will use potential thought crimes on his enemies. And besides,  Republicans hate identity politics? Haha, I jest!

So where does that leave us?

“I keep trying to engage these insane maniacs in polite discourse, but all they want to do is burn the house down. That doesn’t solve anything.”

“I am skeptical we can reach consensus but I’m willing to stay at the table over next few weeks. Maybe I’m a fool for trying but stakes are too high.”

  2. Dennis Cole says:

He should have stopped at the italicized comment. In fact, why not just sit in a corner somewhere, and keep repeating it?

  3. R White says:

If Murphy wasn’t such a corporate tool, he would be calling out the moral bankruptcy of republicans daily, reminding the lobotomized electorate how if we cannot enact sane legislation after the murder of children, we are not that great since Wayne controls republicans and their idiotic leaders.

Pretty pathetic that a sitting senator has to remind fat nixon and his fellaters to appear to care…

  4. The Suzanne Wright Foundation is ostensibly a charity centered on beating pancreatic cancer. HARPA has a prominent place on their website but no mention whatsoever of the kind of massively insidious Big Brother-esque FutureCrime surveillance that “SAFEHOME” would require.

What is wrong with these people??? They will literally trash the rest of the constitution to protect their Precious metal penises….

Mass shooters? I know of two who travel around the world shooting every sort of large animal they can find. Send those two boys off to the funny farm.

  6. roket says:

I admire the republican adherence to their small gummit platform. Quick! Someone cry wolf.

  7. Bruce388 says:

Ain’t nothing “aberrant” about our deaths by gunfire.

  8. Paul Fredine says:

can pre-cogs be that far away?
