Tiger Beat on the Potomac (thanks Charlie!) morning email thingie alerts us:
“Paul Ryan moving his family to Washington from Wisconsin”: “Paul Ryan is moving his family to the city he was always giddy to leave.
“The former speaker of the House and onetime GOP vice presidential nominee is leaving his longtime home of Janesville, Wis., and will rent a house in the Maryland suburbs of Washington. ‘Now in the private sector, Paul and his family are temporarily renting a house in Maryland, and he’ll be spending time there as well as their family home in Janesville,’ a Ryan aide told POLITICO.
“The move will place the Ryan family close to the sisters of Janna Ryan, the former speaker’s wife, who live in the D.C. area. Ryan is not selling his family home in Janesville, and his American Idea Foundation will be based in his hometown.”
Ah. So the man who famously quit being the Speaker of the House to spend more time with his his kids while they are still kids, is moving his family back to the Swamp.
