Reliably Republican blog-like thingie The Hill clutches their pearls: Pelosi refers to McConnell as ‘Moscow Mitch’

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday called Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) “Moscow Mitch” while attacking him for blocking House Democrats’ legislation, including election security measures…

“We all want to invest in building our democracy and saving it from any enemies, foreign and domestic,” Pelosi said in remarks before the Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association in Springfield, Ill., as she discussed House Democrats’ overall agenda.

“We’ve sent our legislation to the Senate. Moscow Mitch says that he is the Grim Reaper. Imagine describing yourself as the Grim Reaper, that he’s going to bury all this legislation,” Pelosi said. “Well, we have news for him. All this legislation is alive and well in the general public.”

As you recall, amply be-chinned Mitch McConnellvitch, has accused people smearing him as modern day McCarthyism, which is funny when you consider that McCarthy smeared innocent people for political gain, and Moscow Mitch is being smeared for being at best a useful idiot to the Kremlin.

And a “useful idiot” like Mitch will eventually be not so useful, but he WILL remain an idiot.

Nope. Doesn’t sound like the rambling nonsense of a middle school bully at all.

I’m kind of surprised this is now a Wikipedia entry, but also surprised that I’m surprised. Should of seen that coming.
He has some regular go-to appellations, doesn’t he?
It kind of makes me wonder what he worries about the most when his most repeated insults are including “Crazy” or “Little”,, although “Crooked” seems to make the cut a lot.

They left out a couple –
For Lisa Page – “Peter Strzok’s lover Lisa Page”
For Nancy Pelosi – “Nancy”, as in “or as I like to call her – ‘Nancy’ ” But maybe that one was just too weird to make the cut. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens.

Speaker Pelosi is never spur-of-the-moment. This was calculated and the question is why. I’m sure she is fed up with his blockade of bills, but, as impeachment investigations heat up, now is the time to work the ref. He gets upset at this particular sobriquet, which reminds me of the old adage that “if you throw a rock at a pack of dogs, the one that yelps is the one you hit.” I expect some more rocks to be thrown, in hopes of getting some favorable calls. You can’t work with him, might as well try to coerce him.

Quid pro quo: Mitch gets the sanctions against Russia dropped; so,
Deripaska gets RusAl to build an aluminum plant in Kentucky. Them payoffs
    are mighty handy!

I have a quibble about the use of the term “smeared” in this context. I think the word “smeared” implies that something has been invented or at least exaggerated to discredit the target.
This shit about McConnell? Looks like it’s true.
