How to Throw Shade: A UK Tradition!

Seething Rage.

The Daily Fail, er, Mail has published more leaked memos revealing (former) U.K. Ambassador to the U.S. Kim Darroch’s blunt-yet-accurate assessments of the Trump administration, including one in which he says that Trump pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal to spite President Barack Obama.

Shocked, am I.

And Darroch gives us a Master Class in diplomatic throwing shade on his last day in the US:

That’s how diplomats let the world know that other diplomats sent similar cables with similar assessments. It probably flew over Prznint Stupid’s fluffed and burnished orange pelt, but that’s OK: it was a signal to the careerists at embassies across the globe that they are not alone. Including our diplomats.

Well, those wacky Europeans have had a bit more time to practice and hone those techniques that serve the diplomatic corps, and allow them to snarkily throw the shade that burns. Besides, as well – they’ve had to deal with ACTUAL royalty, including the ones who can command “off with his head!”, so there’s that to consider. To most of these “career diplomats,” tRump is nothing more than a poseur, a fraud, and pretty much a waste of good, breathable air.
