I have no idea what set our Stable Genius off this time (I totally know), but Prznint McTwitter went on a tear AGAINST Fox News last night. I’d post them all, but there are too many, and you can easily find them yourselves. Eiron is laughing her ass off, by the way.

Now of course, Comrade Stupid has also turned against Twitter (Axios, so weird formatting, emboldening, and enigmatic use of bullets is theirs):

After fueling allegations that Twitter and other social platforms censor conservatives, Trump is now calling on Congress to pass legislation that would target some of the world’s largest social media companies, and has suggested that those companies be sued for illegal activity.

Trump told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo that “you may need legislation in order to create competition” for Twitter.

• He repeated that in an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, and said Twitter has engaged in “possible illegal” activity.
• Trump also told Bartiromo that Twitter “should be sued because what’s happening with the bias.”
• He also suggested that U.S. regulators should be the ones to sue Google and Facebook, not European regulators.

Which is pretty funny when you consider that the 4th Reich is destroying regulations like they were See’s Candies at a rest home. Imagine Ajit Pai having to negotiate this one! But I digress.

As you probably have heard, Stupid plans to have a Social Media Summit, and as his custom, he did not invite the principal players: Facebook and Twitter. Totally makes sense, amiright?

“The White House hasn’t extended invitations to Facebook and Twitter for a social media summit set for Thursday, anonymous sources familiar with the matter have told CNN. The White House hasn’t disclosed who has been invited, but the sources said they wouldn’t be surprised by the exclusion of the two giants.

“A choice to exclude Twitter and Facebook could stem from President Donald Trump’s complaints that the social media sites are politically biased against conservatives. Twitter and Facebook have repeatedly denied these accusations, but that hasn’t stopped Trump and other lawmakers from raising these concerns.”

So it sounds like it will be another stupid winger bitch session, Republicans will nail themselves to the cross and moan about some liberals censoring their free speech, when in fact what really is happening is that no one wants to listen to fascists except other fascists. It’s the same issue that the Theocrats have: their right to free speech ends at our ears.
