What Is Comrade Trump Hiding?

House Democrats finally got the chance to question Hope Hicks in a closed-door hearing about her tenure as Prznint Stupid’s communications director.

Be prepared for a shock Gentle Readers: Hicks declined to answer questions! Which, come to think of it, was exactly what her job was at the White House!

So why did the Dims allow this to be closed-door? The optics of White House Lawyers ordering her to not answer questions even like “where was your office located” might show Americans the utter black-out operation that the Russian Usurper is running. The transcript of the hearing will be available “soon” but really, who is going to read through a ream of pages with no answers?

(I am reminded of the shit-show testimony of former AG Alberto Gonzales in the misadministration of Chimpy McStagger who set a land-speed record of “I do not recall” statements.)

Remember Susan McDougall? No? She served 18 months in prison, after Rethuglicons in Congress during Clinton’s Impeachment hearings found her to be in contempt. CIVIL contempt. She finally caved in and testified, but she should be lauded somewhat for sticking to her guns for so long.

“I’m watching obstruction of justice in action,” Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said on Wednesday, USA Today reports. “…You have to ask the question, ‘what are they trying to hide from the American people?'” He went on to say that she DID answer one question: “What was the weather like on your first day in the White House? Sunny? Cloudy?” We’ll have to wait for the transcript to find out what her answer was, since it was a closed-door session.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Manning is being held in jail – again – and being fined $500 Ameros per day, which is supposed to increase to $1,000 a day starting next month, just for refusing to answer some questions in front of a special Grand Jury, which is her 5th Amendment right.

Susan McDougall? The word on the street was that she did answer Starr’s questions. She was jailed for contempt when she answered, but Starr preferred that she follow the script that he gave her. Or so I heard. Was I mistaken?

It will be interesting to see how our failed media will apply bothsiderism to this story.
