Canadian family drives home with father’s dead body in backseat ‘to avoid US healthcare costs’
“A Canadian family drove home from Florida with a father’s dead body in their car to avoid paying US healthcare and repatriation fees, it has been reported.”
But seriously, this is a terrible story! Our healthcare system is bad enough for us, but now tourists are having to do the full Aunt Edna to get the dearly departed home!
Hat tip: Scissorhead Moeman, eh?.
Hello TG. Even the dead don’t want our healthcare system. Hugs

I will attest. Although in the absence of anything better, I admit I kind of need it…

When you fear our health care system, and dead is your starting point, we’ve got serious problems.
If I were a Canadian in the US (and I am), I would hustle my dead ass home too.

And thus an improvement over the “Little Miss Sunshine” situation, where grandpa was in the trunk.
