‘Don’t Cry For Me, I’m Subpoena’ed’ (Cont.)

“Last time I saw a mouth like that it had a hook in it.” — R. Dangerfield

Axios:

“House Ways and Means Committee chairman Richard Neal (D-Mass.) formally asked the IRS on Wednesday to turn over 6 years of President Donald Trump’s tax returns.

“The big picture: This request could potentially trigger a court battle, per the New York Times. [Ed. – YA THINK?!–TG] The long-awaited move comes as House Democratic committee leaders have issued subpoenas as part of a series of investigations into the president and his inner circle.

“Details: Neal cited a little-known IRS code that gives only the chairs of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Finance Committee the power to request tax documents from anyone, per the Times.

  • Neal has also requested the tax returns of Trump’s trust and seven business entities, including his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
  • The IRS has until April 10 to comply with the request. If Neal gets the information, he will privately review it with his committee staff.

That’s more like it; the Dims have found their vestigial spines.

Take a page from Trump’s own playbook: attack from multiple directions and keep pounding so the subject of all of the attacks can’t fight them all off. Hit these criminals and liars from every legal source until one of them cracks and the cracks lead to a flood. We know Trump’s a lousy crook and every possible stone must be overturned to prove it. The more investigations, the better.

      Donnah –

“If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way because they’re not gonna give up the fight until one of you is dead… Do you want to know how to get Capone? You’ve got to do it the Chicago Way. He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one o’ yours to the hospital, you send one o’ his to the morgue. That’s the Chicago way. And that’s how you get Capone.”

      Right?

Think he can keep his tiny finger off the button for another week? Or do you think the “launch command” will be given before we have a decent chance to duck and cover? Coz that’s the ultimate distraction, and there’s little doubt in my mind that his mental state is already ready to do it.

He’s clearly demented right now. Looking at him speak, with the exaggerated, crazy facial features and tics, is like watching a freakshow.

How do you forget or lie about where your father was born? “Oranges”? Windmills cause cancer? Someone in the fake news media may leak the live CSpan feed at the podium where you are speaking?

The Nation is literally being led by a barking madman. And his madness is matched only be his malevolence. The Nation would be better off if the fucker stroked out on stage and dropped dead. Or better yet self-combusted and burned to death before our eyes.

Anything is possible in this Mad Hatter Presidency.

And seriously, he is being helped every day by the Republican Party and our media, who refuse to say that this is not normal.

      That escalated quickly!

Trump values himself above all else, but then he values possessions and money. He knows that Trump Tower and Merde-a-lardo are worthless if they are incinerated.

      I’m not worried about that.

True, but – his GINORMOUS ego demands fulfillment, bigly, and given his obviously unstable mental state, if he figures he’s going down, and will therefore lose EVERYTHING, then I have no doubt he won’t hesitate to take the rest of with him. Sure, he’s currently getting LOTS of attention, but it’s unfortunately the wrong kind.
What will save us is that the upper ranks of the Military certainly recognize what’s going on with him, and would surely countermand an order to launch. I think.
Remember, when he’s under attack he fights back ferociously, and these are dark days for little donny.

I believe that you only have to retain records for 6 years.
