All the media outlets breathlessly tell us how many Ameros the 2020 Goat rodeo candidates are raising, but one outlet stands above the others. Axios email ALERT tells us…
“2020 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders announced Tuesday that he has raised $18.2 million from more than 900,000 individual donors since launching his campaign on Feb. 19.
“By the numbers: Sanders raised $5.9 million in the first 24 hours after announcing his candidacy. His campaign told reporters on a press call that he has $28 million cash on-hand thanks to transfers from pre-existing funds. For comparison, Sen. Kamala Harris announced Monday she raised $12 million from 218,000 individual donors, while Pete Buttigieg said he has raised $7 million from 158,550 donors.”
But, you know, to put it all into perspective, we turn to the Pride of CNN, Chris Cillizza for a HOT TAKE!
The $12 million for Harris makes Buttigieg’s $7 million look that much better

Cillizza somehow found a way to say that a white dude’s lesser amount of fund-raised Ameros is more important than a black woman’s greater amount of fund-raised Ameros, which I guess is why he makes the big bucks.
