The Morning Quote

Axios morning email thingie provides us with the accidentally funniest line of the morning in a story about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Beto O’Rourke being phenomenons as political artists.

It seems the Usual Suspects don’t know what to make of these kids and their social media!

(Emboldening is mine):

Jon Cohen, SurveyMonkey’s chief research officer, tells me: “These data show the phenomenon is real — [AOC] tops Sen. Schumer in favorability among Democrats, and overall nearly rivals Speaker Pelosi.”

Hard to imagine anyone having a hard-on for Schumer, but it is an ever-expanding universe, innit?

  1. The universe may be ever-expanding, but I’m concerned that with DC is nearing its Schwarzschild radius of bullshit, we will soon all be engulfed, rather than merely being bombard with Drumpf radiation. My calculations may be off, DC is spin central, but can be considered a non-rotating body.
