Bombshell Headline!

Holy crap!

The headline on the web is slightly different, perhaps better: “F.B.I. Opened Inquiry Into Whether Trump Was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia.”

“In the days after President Trump fired James B. Comey as F.B.I. director, law enforcement officials became so concerned by the president’s behavior that they began investigating whether he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests, according to former law enforcement officials and others familiar with the investigation. The inquiry carried explosive implications. Counterintelligence investigators had to consider whether the president’s own actions constituted a possible threat to national security.

“Agents also sought to determine whether Mr. Trump was knowingly working for Russia or had unwittingly fallen under Moscow’s influence. The investigation the F.B.I. opened into Mr. Trump also had a criminal aspect, which has long been publicly known: whether his firing of Mr. Comey constituted obstruction of justice. Agents and senior F.B.I. officials had grown suspicious of Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia during the 2016 campaign but held off on opening an investigation into him, the people said, in part because they were uncertain how to proceed with an inquiry of such sensitivity and magnitude.

“But the president’s activities before and after Mr. Comey’s firing in May 2017, particularly two instances in which Mr. Trump tied the Comey dismissal to the Russia investigation, helped prompt the counterintelligence aspect of the inquiry, the people said. The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, took over the inquiry into Mr. Trump when he was appointed, days after F.B.I. officials opened it.”

And to me here’s the thing: Comrade Trump’s behavior has been so peculiar almost from the very start of his term, you have to ask yourself: if he was a literally a russian asset how would he have behaved differently? Everything he does seems influenced or informed by the Kremlin. From changing the plank at the GOP Convention, to the sniveling pro-Russia press conference in Finland, to, well, everything, he’s been defending Putin AND destroying our country from within.

Some reaction tweets from journalists:

And, as you can imagine, Comrade Trump is not pleased about any of this. A Category 6 Tweetstorm ensues:

Press Secretary Elmira Gantry Huckabee-Sanders’ laughable statement said “this is absurd” and that “unlike President Obama,” The Russian Usurper “has actually been tough on Russia.”

One of the reporters, Adam Goldman said on CNN, “I’m not sure that response has anything to do with my reporting. The facts are what they are.”

I have been reading a bit of this today. Very interesting repercussions from this. In effect the entire tRump fiasco could in theory be undone, as if by magic but instead by Law.
Every appointment, every presidential statement, every decree, every law, all undone.
I don’t want to believe in fairy godmother’s but this could possible lead to actual Justice for our country!
    There is Hope fellow spitballers.
Imagine the wailing tho if it does go down.

Not sure bragging about firing the people investigating him is a good look for Donnie Two Thumbs.

Much of the Russian – Trump Organization conspiracy is really pretty transparent. Right after the Trump Tower opened in 1984, a Russian mafia boss bought a bunch of condos in the tower and from that point on, Trump sought out and worked with the Russian mafia on a regular basis. It’s also important to remember that the Russian mafia, unlike the American mafia is part and parcel of the Russian state and the KGB (FSB)/GRU, in particular. So work with the Russian mafia and you work with the Russian government.
After Trump blew through Fred Trump’s $400 million, he needed a lot of cash to dig himself out of his enormous debt. This is when the money laundering started (in 2005 and amounting to 1300 real estate transactions to date, most of them through shell companies set up Trump and the Russians). Needless to say, the notion that Trump had no idea what was going on is laughable at best. In any event, his sons have boasted in public about relying on Russian money for their business model. So, it has long been clear that Trump has been a Soviet/Russian “asset” for 35 years but now we know he has also been an active agent conspiring with Putin to undermine the US and the Western alliance generally since at least 2015 and continuing to the present.

I think there is so much public evidence available, as quite a number of serious analysts have demonstrated for impeachment and conviction that Mueller’s report will simply provide additional details rather than blockbuster revelations.

Point is we already know conclusively that Trump and his family are traitors.

Treason has a very specific definition in the law, so I don’t know the family meets the requirements. Probably espionage, though, at least, due to revealing info to countries that have no business getting that info. Lifting sanction? Subversion, or sedition – are those legal terms? I’m quite out of my depth with laws at this level.
Anyway, as long as we are not at actual war with Russia, so I have read, treason is a difficult charge to stick. Don’t quite know what the charge (for the puppet) is for allowing a foreign leader to run the government through a puppet.

        Executive laundering?

He’s been laundering for a while, now, since well before he made his stupid run for the White House. That did let Russians in his door, but he did not have access to let them in America’s door until the campaign, the election and the inauguration. Allegedly.

We all just assumed the Manchurian Candidate would be subtle about it. Smart, discreet and impossible to suspect because of his reputation. This is when Twain would remind us – “The problem with writing fiction, as compared to history, is that fiction has to be believable.

It’s not like we weren’t given a head’s up… I still wonder why Obama did nothing about this, since he had certainly been privy to the scenario. That’s when I say, “Fuckin’ dogdamned Obama.”

At this point, I will believe almost anything Mueller and the FBI tell me about Cheetolini, but I must admit that back during the campaign, I thought Shitler was probably colluding with Judge Doom and the weasels.
