You Know Also Who Should Be Removed From Office?

In Mitch McConnell’s salad days, when he only had a few chins

OK, we all know of the many nefarious and crooked things that amply be-chinned Mitch McConnel did during the Obama years (Hello Judge Garland!), many of which have destroyed not just our faith in gubmint, but have put us on the current trajectory to become even more of a banana republic than we already are. Anyway, here’s the latest outrage:

The House passed two bills to reopen the government.

Amply be-chinned Mitch McConnell has said he will not allow votes on any measures that Prznint Stupid doesn’t support (you know, like ones without funding for his stupid Tortilla Curtain).

Mitch McConnell passed a veto-proof (100-0!) a bill to fund the government without an Amero of funding for the Tortilla Curtain, as recently as, oh, DECEMBER:

Trump is McConnell’s front man. Trump is in it for power, ego, and financial gain, McConnell is in it for power and power. McConnell is following in the noble footsteps of people like Newt Gingrich and he won’t give an inch to relinquish any of his political power.

I hope that investigations by the Mueller team reach down into McConnell’s affairs and take him down, too.

Calling Trump the Turtle’s frontman seems like the wrong framing of the situation to me. I think it would be fairer to refer to Trump as Mitch’s boss. Certainly, Mitch is acting in a subserviant manner to Trump, making sure he anticipates his superior’s desires and following his orders. Mitch no longer has the free agency and power that we as citizens once associated with the leader of the US Senate. He is basically just another well-paid coffee boy at this point.

It’s possible Mitch just knows how to play Trump. If he strokes Trump’s ego just right he can convince Trump that everything Mitch wants is Trump’s idea. Of course, he would need to act on that fast or Trump might just change his mind.

  2. we’ve got a 65 gallon fishtanks that is waiting for resealing before introducing water again, but we are willing to allow it to be used as a retirement terrarium for this doucheturtle. We’ll feed him cat turds and very small rocks.

So much for that “will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office” part of his oath.

Did Senate Republicans actually willingly vote this shitheel back in as majority leader? I don’t remember hearing a big fuss over this anywhere in the media, so I’m asking here.
They need to own this. Too bad that Zucker dude doesn’t see any newsworthyness in this.
