Ladies and Germs, give it up for props comic Ajit Pai!
The other day we might have mentioned something about Verizon’s Employee of the Month and FCC Chairman Ajit Pai who might know sumpin’ about why Verizon (and the other ISPs) wanted Net Neutrality nixed, and how real people who never commented on Net Neutrality roll-back accounted for about half of the public comments.
Funny ol’ world, innit?
I don’t know for sure this is related, but it seems too strange to be mere serendipity: Verizon says its media brand is essentially worthless, and in the article it says that “Verizon plans to focus more on wireless technology and less on content and distribution.”
So, you know, taking fees to not throttle other content providers is suddenly very lucrative bidness model when your own content, well, sucks.
They are enacting their (ALLEGED) big, evil plan in plain sight, with the help (ALLEGED) of the FCC. It’s amazing to me that no one in Congress is screaming about this.
Just sayin’.
The telecommunications corporations suck, but they all pretty much suck equally.

Well, there’s always the next Congress. Perhaps they will do their job.
