Yesterday we noted that Comrade Trump made a $50M Amero bribe to Comrade Putin, when he proposed to give his boss the penthouse in the proposed Moscow Trump Tower.
In haste, I lost the lede of why that is important, and I regret the error.
The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 is a United States federal law known primarily for two of its main provisions: one that addresses accounting transparency requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and another concerning bribery of foreign officials.
Any U.S. business that bribes any foreign official to make a sale, or get any kind of desirable treatment is committing a felony. Even attempting to bribe a foreign official is a felony. Every company I have ever worked for has held a mandatory, yearly class to go over this law.
And trust me: Putin knows this law. You want kompromat on Trump? This is kompromat.
