The Morning Dialog

Sweet, sweet relief

The WaPo:

REPORTER: Have you read the climate report yet?

TRUMP: I’ve seen it. I’ve read some of it and—it’s fine.

REPORTER: They say the economic impact could be devastating.

TRUMP: Yeah. I don’t believe it.

REPORTER: You don’t believe it?

So we got that working for us. Too. Also.

Having a strong belief system is important to functioning in today’s society.
But I guess having a strong DISBELIEF system is crucial when you’re Preziniting. Or non-belief. Or even BEYOND belief, when opinions matter as much as actual facts.

Trump and the WH are going to try to spin the report as a worst case scenario put together by a collection of paid Liberal scientists to make them look bad. Their stupid decision to dump the report on Black Friday hasn’t really paid off, and the more they try to bury it, the bigger it will get.

A Republican who actually sides with the report said last night on MSNBC that Trump and his followers can deny the report if they have to, but if you step off your roof, you’ll still fall and hit the ground because gravity is science, and denying it doesn’t make it go away.
