Breaking CNN!

Hey Guys, CNN just won the first round against the Fourth Reich!

(CNN)Federal judge Timothy J. Kelly sided with CNN on Friday, ordering the White House to reinstate chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta’s press pass. The ruling was an initial victory for CNN in its lawsuit against President Trump and several top aides. The lawsuit alleges that CNN and Acosta’s First and Fifth Amendment rights are being violated by the suspension of Acosta’s press pass.Kelly did not rule on the underlying case on Friday. But he granted CNN’s request for a temporary restraining order.

Now what makes this especially delicious is that Judge Kelly is an appointee of Prznint Stupid. Expect a Twatter storm about loyalty, or maybe not knowing who this guy is or sumpin. But I’m only guessing

Boy, the Glorious Leader must be regretting that appointment now.

CNN and NBC reports that the White House will “temporarily” return his press pass.

Now, if I was Trump, being a junior secret policeman, my response would be to bar ALL media access to the White House, and the only thing the media would get would be written statements, delivered at the White House gate by interns with no power to answer questions. And if that didn’t work, they’d be delivered by armed Marines.

I always amuse myself by coming up with secret police approaches to all problems in the world. I’ve been doing it since I was a teenager. I tell people “When I grow up I want to be head of the Secret Police.” It’s given me no end of laughs.

I can’t help but think we are getting very close to stoke territory at this juncture.

What makes this especially delicious is that Zucker’s NBC made a fortune off Trump and The Apprentice, and now Zucker’s CNN is making a fortune off Trump’s presidency.

This bull doesn’t fool me for a second. Acosta’s a tool, and I’m not going to pretend CNN is anything resembling a legit journalism shop. They’re just manufacturing BS news to try to maintain a shred of credibility.

    A bit late for that.

      StonyPillow –

Yes, just like Fox News, CNN is nearly divided into News and Opinion programming. Both networks hard news is pretty good, but both of them present infotainment/opinion as shouty-head panel shows, and they are the worst things on Cable.

Zucker is as craven as they come, but it is a business model that depends upon having a casual disregard for outcomes. He’s perfect for the role.

Two questions: Can Trump fire the judge? What about Melania?
