The Moral Compass Of Jamie Dimon

Hey Baby, Come Here Often?

Speaking of economic rat-eff’ers:

Dimon acknowledged during yesterday’s Axios event at U.C.L.A. that pulling out of his speaking role at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh was basically a P.R. move that won’t affect Saudi government behavior, adding it was done because JPMorgan “couldn’t be seen in any way condoning” the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. Dimon made a similar “you need to be at the table to engage” argument that he’s made when it comes to meeting with President Trump, despite their public disagreements.

What a shitheel.

And in other newz, Prezinit Stupidpants wants to send as many as 15,000 troops to the border, doubling his original order for around 7500, catching the Pentagon completely by surprise. This would be approximately the same number of troops that are stationed in the Mideast. They will be issued live ammo, which is no surprise, but Rules of Engagement have yet to be formulated.
When the White House was accused of doing this for a PR stunt, Mad Dog Mattis replied, “We don’t do stunts.” Huh. Coulda fooled me, I thought this whole frightfest regarding The Caravan” was exactly that, a PR stunt devised solely to rile up his base, and perhaps frighten enough ignorant, usually-non-voting citizens to support his yearning for an “All-White” populace.

No worries about going off topic. I saw the news, and all I can think is that this is 1) probably illegal without a decree of Martial Law and B) Vets are gonna lose their shit.

You cannot deploy troops on US soil unless there is insurrection. posse comitatus Is the term I’m thinking of.

And my apologies for going off-topic, but it was fresh in my mind, and I wanted to lay it out there.

“What a shitheel” – True that, but was there ever any doubt?

Yeah, he’s a shitheel — but at least he was one of the shitheels that actually told the truth.

Principles are great and all but we can’t let them get in the way of making money.
