Pays to know your bloodsuckers.
I grew up in Squirrel Hill, the Pittsburgh neighborhood where the Nazi shot up the Tree of Life Syna gogue. This is a district that was about 80% Jewish and 20% Catholic (Irish/Italian) when I was growing up. It apparently now has more Asian families as well, which doesn’t surprise me since Squirrel Hill has excellent schools and is adjacent to Oakland, which has Carnegie-Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, both excllent schools. Point is that it was a gentle, friendly neighborhood, a wonderful place to live. And stll is, despite this beast’s murders and (IMO the President that inspired it).
I’m sorry, Jim, that this is a personal pain for you.

Thank you, Karla. I don’t live in Pittsburgh now but I regularly visit for sports and nang-out reasons with friends. Pittsburgh has always been a city of ethnic neighborhoods and friendly ones. That’s why this is so wrong.
How did they ever find such a flattering picture of Ted Cruz there next to Trump?
The photographer found Rafael’s good, or less-bad, side.
