America Thanks Local Stable Genius For Doubling Job Forecast in 3 Days

More exciting news from Trump HQs!

Axios has a timeline of Comrade Stupid’s attempt to justify defending Crown Prince Bone Saw (enigmatic embolding is THEIRS):

The Toronto Star’s Daniel Dale points out:

On March 20, during the Crown Prince’s visit, Trump claimed the Saudi purchases of U.S. weapons he arranged would generate “over 40,000 jobs in the United States.”

Last Saturday, Oct. 13, when Trump was asked if he’s considering punishing Saudi Arabia for murdering Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi, Trump mentioned the same arms deal as the reason he was reluctant to stop the arms sales. That time, he said the deal created 450,000 jobs.

On Wednesday, Oct. 17, during a Fox Business interview, Trump inflated the statistic to 500,000 jobs.

On Friday, at lunchtime during a water rights memorandum signing, Trump increased the jobs number to 600,000.

A few hours later, on Friday evening at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, Trump said the deal was worth 600,000 jobs for the military but “over a million jobs” in total.

So, you see what a good prznint he is? He’s single handedly increased the number of jobs from selling guns to (Bone) Sawdi-Arabia from 40,000 to over a million in just a matter of months, and doubled the number just in 3 days!

(So I guess if the Saudis want to murder more WaPo journalists it would be fine with him…?)

So by now it must be at least 10 million jobs lost, amirite? And around Wednesday night, everyone in the country will be unemployed.

Even the 40k jobs figure was a complete lie. At this pace of number inflation, has anybody calculated how many IMMIGRANTS would need to be brought into the country to fill all these jobs that completely dwarf the number of Americans in the workforce?

Very similar to his comment last week about how he was REALLY tired of sending hundreds of billions of dollars to CA, for fire-fighting. The bill in 2017? Around $3 billion Ameros, most of which was pre-arranged reimbursement for CalFire’s efforts in putting out fires in NATIONAL Forests, which the Feds are most certainly responsible for. And he claims CA keeps burning due to Forestry mismanagement and those dreaded, dread-locked environmentalists. “They just leave the dead wood laying all over the place, so of course it’s gonna burn.”

  4. Utterly OT, but does anyone know the origin and story of that ‘wheels coming off’ pic ? It has been low-grade bugging me for years to find out the Troo Story, and I’m sure SOMEone out there in Internetland knows the answer…

There are a couple of clues in the picture. First, the car has both a license plate and a racing number (10) so it has to be after cars started being licensed wherever the race was being held. Second, there is a picture, so it was likely a publicized race, with a camera on tripod set up somewhere mid-race to capture some action shots.
It won’t be the Great Race of 1888, as that is too early. The style of vehicles in that race, from images I found, look a lot more like adapted railway cars or horse-drawn carriages. Also, if this is from the U.S. it would be after 1901, when license plates were introduced as a requirement.
      Google is an amazing thing.
