Crown Prince Bone Saw Update

Hope Pompeo counts his fingers after shaking hands with Crown Prince Bone Saw

NYTimes lead story:

“Saudi agents were waiting when Jamal Khashoggi walked into their country’s consulate in Istanbul two weeks ago. Mr. Khashoggi was dead within minutes, beheaded, dismembered, his fingers severed, and within two hours the killers were gone, according to details from audio recordings described by a senior Turkish official.”

Axios morning email thingie tells us…

While President Trump took a soft stance, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman he had 72 hours to complete his “investigation” into the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, or risk wrecking the kingdom’s place on the world stage, Axios Jonathan Swan reports.

A source with knowledge of the conversation told Axios that Pompeo told MBS, in their Tuesday meeting, that he needs to “own” the situation.

Pompeo stressed the timeline for dealing with the situation is “limited” because global pressure is mounting.

The State Department declined to comment on the remarks, some of which were first reported by CNN. A Saudi spokeswoman acknowledged receipt of Axios’ email but did not comment by deadline.

Tiger Beat on the Potomac (thanks Charlie!) –

“Just this week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo published an essay arguing that one major reason President Donald Trump’s foreign policy vision will succeed is its ‘moral clarity.’

“But then there he was: The same Mike Pompeo, in the same week, smiling and chatting amiably with Saudi leaders suspected of orchestrating the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Pompeo expressed confidence that the Saudis will conduct a legitimate probe into the case and hold wrongdoers accountable — a stance many in Washington found hard to believe.

As more details are released about the disappearance of American journalist Jamal Khashoggi, 11 U.S. Senators are requesting that President Trump and his sons, Don Jr. and Eric, disclose information regarding the Trump family business and its ties with Saudi Arabia.

One key quote: “It is imperative that this sanctions determination, and U.S. policy towards Saudi Arabia generally, are not influenced by any conflicts of interest that may exist because of your or your family’s deep financial ties to Saudi Arabia.”

I should note that to utterly no one’s surprise, Fox News still plans to attend Davos in the Desert. I mean, it was a WaPo columnist who was deboned, not Tucker. Shame that, of course.

Crown Prince Bone Saw will find some scapegoats to take the blame, and claim he knew nothing. And Prznint Complicit will accept his denials, and try to return to bidness as usual.

They should put the same crack FBI investigative team that looked into the fresh allegations against Boozy McRapeface in charge of this minor kerfuffle, while telling us that “We’re doing all we can. Really.”
And it seems to be exceedingly difficult to place a price on the death of this journalist; is it $100 million Ameros, the amount pledged to us, to help fight insurgents in Syria, which finally arrived, no coincidence, none whatsoever? Or is it $110 billion, the amount pledged for arms sales, which Hair Furor has claimed would be devastating to US defense contractors, resulting in massive job losses? Or is it more like $10 billion, which is realistically all they were likely to spend?

Facts. They are elusive, squiggly, wiggly little debils, I tells ya.

11 out of 100 Senators are concerned about the Trump family’s conflict of interest. Woe to the Republic.

Pompeo is nothing but a fixer for Trump, Inc. He’s a government-employed replacement for Michael Cohen… running around, making and collecting payoffs that go right into Trump’s pocket. Of course he told Prince Bone Saw to make this whole thing go away or their money-making schemes might be jeopardy. MBS will find a couple poor sods to get their heads lopped off in a public execution and THAT WILL BE THAT.

I agree with whomever astutely mentioned that no gavitas Pompeo – so called Secretary of State, what a joke! – is no more than a an apologist / ” fixer” replacement for Michael Cohen and a lawyer as well…Harvard if I’m not mistaken. I love the “Crown Prince Bonesaw” handle. Bravo!
