The Morning Quote

Kiss me, you fool!

We’re gonna dissect this quote like a common WaPo columnist (if you know what I mean and I think you do):

“‘Well, I think we have to find out what happened first,’ Trump said. ‘Here we go again with, you know, you’re guilty until proven innocent. I don’t like that. We just went through that with Justice Kavanaugh. And he was innocent all the way.’”

And thus, Preznint Stupid compares Crown Prince Mohammed ‘Bone Saw’ Bin Salman’s kingdom, which murdered Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi inside its consulate in Turkey (ALLEGEDLY!), to now-Supreme Court Justice GangBang, who was credibly accused of sexually assaulting multiple women (ALLEGEDLY!) during his confirmation.

We know that Comrade Stupid likes strong men (insert the names of dictators and autocrats here). We also know that Prznint Horndog does not respect women and only sees them as objects whose only purpose is to satisfy him in whatever piggy way he wants.

Saudi Arabia’s senile King Salman and Prince Bone Saw both deny any knowledge of deboning and filleting the WaPo columnist when he entered their country’s consulate in Turkey; Khashoggi has not been seen whole or parts since.

Kavanaugh was accused of sexual assault by multiple women during a shit-show confirmation process that eventually saw him confirmed to sit on the Supreme Court. The Virgin Mayor of Keg City, like Prince Bone Saw, denies the allegations against him.

So, you can see how Comrade Trump made the comparison. The question really is “why?”

Let’s cut to the chase:

During his play date with “60 Minutes,” Prznint Stupid said that the vast amount of money Saudis spend on U.S. weapons is influencing the Fourth Reich’s position on the matter.

“I tell you what I don’t wanna do. Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, all these com— I don’t wanna hurt jobs. I don’t wanna lose an order like that. There are other ways of— punishing, to use a word that’s a pretty harsh word, but it’s true.”

And this is exactly why there will be no justice for Jamal Khashoggi. The price (in dollars) is too great for Comrade Trump and the reporter-victim (an enemy of the people under TWO autocratic regimes!) was not important enough.

Yeah, that’s where we are now, the actual torture and dismembering of a critic is being sacrificed on the altar of capital. This is a major opening of the ongoing IV drip feed of novocaine that’s been steadily applied to the national sensibilities since Trump came down that escalator to announce his candidacy to a paid crowd of clapping idiots.
We’re literally in the original Hitleresque “Night of the Long Knives” territory now.
Khashoggi is the trial-run Ernst Röhm canary in the fascist coal mine. If the House of Saud gets away with this, and Trump is going to do everything he can to help them do exactly that, we will then know a few things for sure.

We’ll know that the GOP really has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Trump Inc.
We’ll know that the media will have, once again, failed spectacularly to unite against what is clearly an advancing fascist coup and a direct threat to a free press (as Exhibit A in the case for showing how they’re on the wrong track allow me to present a headline in today’s Guardian, once a real newspaper; “Ann Coulter says the left has lost its mind. Should we listen?”)
We’ll know that the Trump juggernaut really is basically invulnerable to any previously accepted norms of political gravity. This is another way of saying that in spite of everything, Trump is now the new normal. If a legal US resident journalist can be literally dismembered and flushed down the toilet (guessing, but why the hell not?) in a Saudi consulate, and literally be sacrificed, openly sacrificed, on the altar of capital, the game really is over.
Because if that’s possible, if they can lie and agitprop their way out of this one, then any fucking thing at all is possible, laws or no laws, constitution or no constitution, elections or no elections.

People who behave like this cannot be voted out of power. They will simply refuse to leave, and exercise whatever “emergency measures” (the original German term for the Röhm murders) are necessary to preserve their advantage, though they will call it “preserving order”. Or even “preserving freedom”.
This is a pivotal moment for the US experiment with a constitutional democratic republic. If we let this frog hop the wrong way now, this time, we’re goners. There will be no plausible second chances after this one.
To quote Fat Clemenza in the Godfather; “They shoulda stopped Hitler at Munich. They never should have let him get away with that. They was just asking for trouble.”

I have been consistently darker in my outlook than most commenters in the US for years, and there have been times my outlook was so dark I myself wondered if I was going a little bit over the top. No longer. This is the darkest and most dangerous moment I’ve seen yet.

It is pretty fucking horrifying to hear president toadstool dick openly state that we can’t let this interfere with arms sales to the Kingdom because it would cost us a lot of money.

He said “They’ve been a great ally to me.” L’etat, c’est moi!

Latest leaks from the alleged audio recording says Kashoggi was alive for at least seven minutes of the bone-sawyers work.

If such a recording truly exists and the Turks have relayed it to US intellegence, people IN OUR GOVERNMENT have heard it, and the Traitor-in-Chief has been apprised of the content and meaning, even if it was in brightly colored pictures.

And the punch line of this sick joke is that there is no actual deal, ALLEGEDLY. The Saudis are just holding out that carrot to get Donnie T’s cooperation. If I was on the news release team of Boeing, Lockheed, or Raytheon, I’d take this as a must-deny situation, as in ‘we deny any further interest in selling stuff to the murder regime. They don’t sell to North Korea, yet, do they? So why would they need the Saudi’s business? And if they do, it’s time to change their business models so that they don’t need to any more.
Selling war machines to the US is bad enough.

The House of Sod also hinted that the price of oil might suddenly double JUST BEFORE THE ELECTIONS, and you know how Bubba hates it when he can’t afford to fill up the guzzler every week. RIP Jamal Khashoggi.

That is a fact that should be widely reported, everywhere. And that is the real economic advantage Trump sees, you know he don’t really care about Boeing, Lockheed and Raytheon.
