SCOTUS Cliffhanger Announcement!

The Judicial Temperament of would-be Justice Gangbang

Next week is going to be a wild week, as Axios explains:

Democrats are getting their requested FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh, setting up a week of tension as investigators launch a time-limited probe into the allegations that surfaced in recent weeks.
Driving the news: Jeff Flake publicly changed his course on the Kavanaugh nomination after being personally challenged by a pair of sexual assault survivors.
The tale of the tape from this riveting day in D.C.:
9:26 a.m: Flake said he was a yes on Kavanaugh.
9:30 a.m.: On his way to the Judiciary Committee vote, Flake was confronted by two sexual assault survivors, who refused to allow his elevator door to close. Their quotes were captured on live video:

And then the next alert from Axios gives us word from Prznint Horndog:

President Trump has approved an FBI investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh that “must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”

Elmira Gantry Huckabee-Sanders:

OK, FBI, get crackin’!

Someone(s) musta had a “come to jeebus” talk with Mushroom in Chief. He’s so complying & amicable, isn’t he. Oh & that “memo” from dear leader, NOT his words! “supplemental investigation”, “limited in scope”(I like this one). One of the Sr. Babysitter’s authored this.

I’m sure he was told that the votes would come through anyway for Brett, if they did the extended investigation…just need the ‘we tried to be co-operative’ done first. Lip service.

I can’t find the official remit as ordered by Der Führer. It has to be defined on paper somewhere doesn’t it?
I’d really like to know with precision what “limited in scope” actually means as a practical matter in this specific instance.
Does it mean the FBI can’t report on his lying to Congress, of which there was plenty, unless those lies are revealed as a direct (and provable) outcome of investigating just the sexual assault allegations currently active?
Or, you know, can the FBI actually do it’s fucking job here?

Someone who watched the hearing and dramatic announcement said that it is only looking into Dr. Ford’s allegations, not any of the other, not the gangbang. I’m sure it will be completely narrowed down to meaninglessness.

Yeah, limited in scope that excludes Avenatti’s key witness as well as others considered to be “questionable” or unbelievable. And I’ll bet there are plenty of other restrictions that will whittle the value of this “investigation” to nothing more than giving time to get Kabanaugh back on track to his Supreme Court seat.

And now the president has ordered them not to do a full investigation……another gawddamned fraud.
