My Kingdom for a Stamp

“Wait. You lick them?”

I’m dumbfounded: Young Voters Don’t Understand Stamps

It seems that college students were stumped by how to buy a stamp and that’s why they never sent in their absentee ballots. They figured out how to request the ballots, they receive the ballots, but they are stumped by where to buy stamps.

So the generation that Googles everything couldn’t figure out that they can Google where to buy stamps online?

(I swear, this is a scene from Going Postal.)

Licking stamps is old school. You just peel them off and stick them these days.

They should just think of stamps as cool tattoos for envelopes, and envelopes as skin for other paper stuff, and paper stuff is just….? I give up.

  5. No way. Everyone knows that you get stamps from the 7-11.

Luckily, for the Young Stoopids in Warshington state, our mail-in ballots include paid postage. As it should be. So they don’t need to know what a stamp is. Plus, we only vote by mail or drop-box. As it should be. Of course, the Young Stoopids still aren’t a big voting bloc. Actually, many Stoopids don’t vote.
