UPDATED: Karma is a Teenage B****

Kiss me, you fool!

Democrats send ‘information’ concerning Kavanaugh nomination to FBI

And right before his committee confirmation vote! Karma is a bitch!

But wait, say what?

Two sources briefed on the matter said it relates to allegations of misconduct by Kavanaugh while he was in high school. There is no criminal investigation into Kavanaugh as a result of this letter, an FBI official said.

Dude is 54 years old, and I have it on good authority that teenaged boys are the worst. I doubt that this could be the Excalibur/James Comey moment, unless there is a real crime accusation. Also, Kavanaugh went to an elite, private, Jesuit boys school, so things could get interesting!

UPDATE 1: The letter alleges an attempted rape.

UPDATE 2: So, the Republicans already knew about the allegations and were not disclosing it? Jeebus.

Maybe Gym Jordan can come to Kavanaugh’s rescue with some locker room talk.

    It’s a rape accusation.

“Attempted sexual assault”? I thought that attempted rape is considered sexual assault so what would attempted sexual assault be? Also, no wonder Rs are burying so much info on Kavanaugh. Pretty rich, holding up what they did allow for info on him until the week before hearings and then accuse Ds of, let’s see, an “11th hour attempt to delay”.
Shoulda given him the Garland treatment.

Good question…what is the difference between “attempted sexual assault” and “attempted rape?”

Maybe the former is grabbing the woman’s breasts over her clothes. I don’ t know.

If it’s the difference between colloquial usage of ‘first base’ and ‘second base’ then legislators should have to pass a basic maturity test and try again. Just my opinion.

      • Kiwiwriter says:

Well, given how much politicians seem to enjoy “getting to the bottom of their pages,” I expect they should be experts on the difference between “first base” and “second base.

      From Tiger Beat:

“In the letter, the woman alleged that, during an encounter at a party, Kavanaugh held her down, and that he attempted to force himself on her. She claimed in the letter that Kavanaugh and a classmate of his, both of whom had been drinking, turned up music that was playing in the room to conceal the sound of her protests, and that Kavanaugh covered her mouth with his hand. She was able to free herself.”

So yeah, O, she WAS held down.

Grassley moved pretty quickly for an old dude, rounding up 65 women who said Kavanaugh was OK. Why, it’s almost as if he had that letter all ready to go. For some strange reason.

  7. RWW says:

Now we know why GrASSley wanted to rush the approval to the “11th hour” as quickly as possible, so that this news, when it hit, could be dismissed as an unfair attack coming too late in the process. We also now know why, of all people, Mitch McTurtle was pretty squeamish about Kavanaugh and would have preferred someone else from the Federalist Society list.

Curious… Kavanaugh went to Georgetown Prep, an ALL-BOYS JESUIT BOARDING SCHOOL. He must have REALLY been the social butterfly during school breaks.
