Local Tradeshow Cancels New Award

Rupert Murdoch with his much-covered Macaca Award!

Hey guys, remember that time when the brainiacs at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided that the ticket for getting more viewers to watch their tradeshow was a new Oscar for outstanding achievement in popular film?

(Methinks they can just count the Ameros the film grossed and call it. Jeebus, these people.)

The idea was sooo unpopular that today, less than a month later, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has cancelled the award for 2019! The plan to “seek additional input” on whether to move forward with it at all.

This might be the most popular decision the Oscars have ever made!

So I guess ol’ Bob, DeSoto Salesman of 2017 for the tri-city area is going to have to return to basics if he wants another plaque for the den.

Counting the America would be the best ad campaign wouldn’t it?
