Like clockwork, Comrade Trump is martyring himself. He told Y’all Qaeda that Democrats “will overturn everything that we’ve done and they’ll do it quickly and violently [if they take over the House]”:
“This November 6 election is very much a referendum on not only me, it’s a referendum on your religion, it’s a referendum on free speech and the First Amendment. It’s a referendum on so much. It’s not a question of like or dislike, it’s a question that they will overturn everything that we’ve done and they will do it quickly and violently. And violently. There is violence. When you look at Antifa — these are violent people. You have tremendous power. You were saying, in this room, you have people who preach to almost 200 million people. Depending on which Sunday we’re talking about.”
Trump likes violence. He likes thinking that Possum Hollar will respond with violence if he’s impeached or if he’s defeated in 2020. But remember, even with all the fire-power in the world, they didn’t show up for Unite the Right Rally 2: Electric Boogaloo. Chickens.
And of course, he lied to the Theocrats faces (as one does). Comrade Trump said that he had gotten rid of a law forbidding churches and charitable organizations from endorsing political candidates.
The law remains on the books, after efforts to kill it in Congress last year failed. So, you know, if they suddenly start endorsing from the pulpit (at his request for 200M rubes), they will be in violation of IRS tax code and lose their exempt status. Let’s see how that plays out for them. And trust me on this: if you want to see violence, try taking Ameros away from those prosperity gospel grifters.
