Twitter explains why the foe of the Lizard People, Alex Jones, is still on their platform, while he has been removed from pretty much every other platform in Social Media:
We didn’t suspend Alex Jones or Infowars yesterday. We know that’s hard for many but the reason is simple: he hasn’t violated our rules. We’ll enforce if he does. And we’ll continue to promote a healthy conversational environment by ensuring tweets aren’t artificially amplified.

So, the CEO of Twitter says their rules are lacking. Good to know.
But wait! There’s more!

Jack Dorsey wants journalists to police tweets from Jones (and presumably others).
Jeebus, Jack: take ownership of your product. It shouldn’t be that hard.

Hey, if he has to start taking responsibility for lying shitheels like Jones, what’s next?
He’s gotta take all those complaints from the skirts seriously, too?
Isn’t it up to the journalists to verify if random death/rape/mutilation threats sent to women who, for example, dare to have a part in a reboot of a popular comedy movie from 34 years ago are real or justified?
(and ohgodohgodohgod I’m old, we tried to get into the street crowd scenes when they were filming the original, but were unable to get downtown in time…)

You think you’re old – hubs and friends got into some of the backgrounds shots of American Graffiti – which scenes might have gotten cut. They did get some of that ice cream Wolfman Jack was handing out, when he said the freezer broke down, because it had.

IOW: Have you seen our stock price? Jones is clickbait, clickbait is our business model.
