Facts are pesky critters. It seems that every republican president tends to run up the debt while giving huge tax cuts to business and the wealthy. This is done so that the country has less money to spend on social causes when a democrat is elected president. History shows that democrats work to lower the debt and that means less spending on things the republicans champion. The news media joins with republicans in pushing the wildly wrong slogan that democrats are “tax and spend”. The truth is the republicans are the party of borrow and spend. Republicans are like a kid with their first credit card who runs it up buying things for their friends with out any thought of how to pay off the debt they are building. Hugs

My anonymous source is unimpeachable, but did not want to be known. That said, I think you could probably find it in Google Images.

I’ll save you the time and trouble:

Your mileage may vary, objects in mirror are closer than they appear, and well, everything else. We don’t know what the 50-year period is, we don’t know the methodology, and there is no link to source material. This is purely speculative.

And that’s exactly why the Trump Cult hates Democrats. Imagine how much more they could have if those economic benefits weren’t shared with blacks, immigrants, gays, shithole countries, leeching NATO allies, government bureaucrats, Hollywood elites, etc. These cultists really crave the shame and degradation that Trump heaps on them to make them out as victims. He’s feeding them a diet of fake anger and it’s making them hungrier and hungrier for the real thing. This is extremely dangerous and it’s getting worse by the day.

Same thing up here in Canada. The Liberals get
the economy booming and along comes a Conservative
PM and it all goes KABLOOEY. When the Liberals get
back in, it’s a long haul to recovery and prosperity.
Twenty-two years of Liberal prosperity from 1962 to
1984 with a brief 4 month Conservative PM whose
budget went down to defeat in the House of Commons.
Trudeau came back and welcomed us to the 1980s.

I noticed one goof. The Democrats have held the presidency only 20 years, and the GOP 30, over the past 50 years.

      Ivory Bill –

That’s what I mean: there’s no indication of when the 50 year period begins and ends. I have the feeling I’ve seen it before (or something like it).
