1) it’s a pretty low bar to trick Mooselini into doing anything that might result in some media attention, and B) CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE DIDN’T KNOW WHO SACHA BARON COHEN WAS?
Palin, who sat down with her daughter for an interview with Cohen, is outraged that the comedian, along with Showtime and CBS Corp., pretended to tap her for a “legit Showtime historical documentary.”
Oh, she was with Brisket Palin™ ? Now it makes all the sense in the world.

So Sarah flew in from Alaska for this sham interview? She must be in the throes of attention withdrawal.

Pranking for laughs on a cable show brings outrage. Smearing ACORN, Planned Parenthood, and Shirley Sharrod with lies, fake and maliciously edited video footage, and committing criminal fraud while doing so, brings serious media scrutiny against the intended target, legitimized ginned up controversy, and ultimately, success. I bet Palin has claimed countless times that Planned Parenthood “sells parts from aborted babies.”
