Stable Genius Prznint Stupid

As we all are tired of so much winning already, let’s turn our attention to the man who never loses, The Russian Usurper. It’s a comedy in three acts.

Act 1, Don’t Bother:

Act 3, Act 1 and 2 Never Happened:

He’s just not very good at lying any more, either, but I guess that won’t stop him from trying.

So here’s the thing. Since we live in interesting times (the Fortune Cookie Curse!), I think journalists should maybe just start with the assumption that whatever Comrade Trump says is a lie, or at least the opposite of what he says must be true. So don’t try to prove that he lied (who cares, we know he’s a liar, possibly the World’s Champion), instead try to find the truth.

But, but, but he is a “stable genius”!! He throws bullshit with the best of them.

“Red Wave” is rather apt, considering the amount of interference the Russians/Putin have had and could still have.

    Vote, people!

I think he’s just as good (or bad) at lying as he always was, it’s just that he now recognizes it no longer matters how blatant the lies are, they still do the job intended.
The people who know he’s not a liar at all, but that everyone else is, are permanently settled into their position and now fully immunized against any reason or facts.
So the polarization needs only to be maintained, not created.
That part of the fascist playbook is now complete and it’s time to focus on the next phase(s).

We see the demonization of the press well under way. We see the packing of the legal institutions with allies well under way, We see the glorification of street level law enforcement well under way, We see the creation of fear of “the other” well under way. We see the systematic weakening of government agencies independent of presidential control and the ongoing attempts to discredit any non-compliant individuals anywhere they pop up.

For a guy who’s supposed to be so amazingly stupid, he’s managing to adhere to the strategies laid down in the only books we have reports of him ever reading with a remarkable consistency.
    Just a coincidence, I’m sure.

That the child separation policy was a bridge too soon (as opposed to a bridge too far) is undeniable. It was a misstep not unlike the one the Third Reich made when they got too far forward on their skis with killing the incurably insane. The blowback made them stop and back up. After some time and some fresh distractions, and plenty of agitprop, it all went away.
Whether the horrifying events at our borders will ultimately be consequential to how this all plays out is not yet known. Maybe not even knowable yet.
There’s plenty of room yet for distractions. North Korea is apparently back to enriching uranium again, so Trump could go off on a tantrum about that easily enough. Who the hell knows what kind of Reichstag fire these asholes will light.

The two big obstacles for this coup are still the same; Mueller and the mid terms. I hear Trump will meet with Putin to discuss strategy in a couple of weeks, so I guess we’ll find out soon enough how they intend to play it.

I’m becoming rather fond of the idea that Trump might really stick it to us by contesting the validity of an uncongenial election result on “foreign interference” grounds.
The intelligence community would have no choice but to back him up, and Congress, still under GOP control until January next, will fly air cover for anything he does anyway. The SANSCOT (Shiny And New Supreme Court Of Trumpistan) might back him too maybe.
Eiron the goddess wouldn’t just fart, she’d shit her pants.

It’s as tho tRump speaks in a foreign language that is open to many interpretations. We will Never know what he really means except for the short translation : “I make money off of this”.
    What is that? Plutocracy?

  5. roket says:

‘ I released many prior to the vote knowing we need more Republicans to win in Nov.”

I hate to sound stupid but wtf does this mean?? He released them from their loyalty oaths, or what?
