Programming Note

I’m attending one here in Seattle –

Protests planned nationwide over Trump immigration policy

“Liberal activists, parents and first-time protesters motivated by accounts of children separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border plan to rally in hundreds of cities nationwide Saturday to press President Donald Trump’s administration to reunite the families quickly. More than 600 marches could draw hundreds of thousands of people across the country, from immigrant-friendly cities like Los Angeles and New York City to conservative Appalachia and Wyoming under the banner Families Belong Together.”

I’ll report later how things go.

    From link, a sign read:
    “What’s next? Concentration Camps?”
What does this sign holder think we have now?
We’re there. How many of us, besides me, thought that the Captial Gazette shooter was doing it for Trump?
Hubby says he saw a news report about a shooting of reporters in sunny Cal (Daily Californian) but we cannot find it now. I don’t know if he saw some parody thing or if it has been buried.
We have been personally experiencing memory hole disturbances in the news since at least 2000, when he saw an interview with one of the demolition crew working on the Kingdome. (He had said that it was going to take ‘half-again as much’ explosives to do the job – but by the time I he could show it to me the report it had been converted to a voice over saying it would take ‘half as much’. Gary Locke was the governor then and he had a lot of, um, friends(?) who owned property in the area where the new arena was to be built.
Putin is giving my comment the side-eye from the side-bar now, but it’s true.
