Comrade Stupid is claiming that Crowley’s loss is a scalp for MAGA:

Oh, man, if Trump thinks Crawley was disrespectful, wait till he meets Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Just a reminder, Donnie Two-Scoops, you LOST the popular election. You are not as popular as you think and your handlers try to convince you.

I’m guessing our Vainglorious Butthead leader doesn’t understand how primaries work.

Sorry donnah, it’s you not understanding how primaries work. It IS, and always HAS BEEN, ABOUT TRUMP!!1!!

He’s planting seeds, make no mistake. Even if he loses this district he’ll parlay this primary into juice for some MAGA asshole in a totally different district, even a different state. Or not, depends on what that particular seed sprouts for him.
Such is the art of the grifter/con.
Those seeking to depose the orange monarch might do better if, instead of studying political trends and polls, they studied (we studied) W.C. Field movies for various grifting techniques. Or perhaps “A Face in the Crowd”.

A Democratic Socialist (IOW a real democrat) won an election unseating one of the most comfortably placed fixtures of the Democratic Party.

Now what will the DLC, pardon me I meant the Democratic Party, choose to do in response:

    A. Appeal to the vast majority of people in the United States by making social and economic issues that matter to them in their daily lives the core of the party platform.
    B. Move to the Right and seek more corporate donations.
    C. Focus on five key battleground states, completely ignoring all others.

      O –

      That’s my big fear, too.

The Dims never seem to see the obvious lesson, and they want one playbook that will work in every district.

      So:
      1) Run “socialists” EVERYWHERE, or
      B) Run milquetoasts EVERYWHERE.

Let the districts choose. But I think you probably got it: they will drop the 50-state strategy again. I’m already hearing that they don’t have enough money (emphasis mine):

“Tonight’s developments have little practical impact on the race for the top Democratic slot since Pelosi has made clear that she’s staying put. Real question is which younger Members of leadership will step up in their leadership roles. One real way to do that now is to raise money now. We literally are in a position of where we cannot afford the opportunity that exists on the map.”

Of course they don’t have enough money. They’re depending on corporate donations to finance their operations.

I’m not surprised the corporations aren’t donating enough to overturn republican rule for the .01%. Are you?

        Is anyone?
