Paul Ryan: Chump or Insane?

“Oh, gross,” said the fish

Hey guys, remember last week when ZEGS (Zombie-eyed Granny-starver Paul Ryan) failed to pass a Republican-only immigration bill, and Prznint Stupid twatted out an encouraging, “Don’t Bother,” thus undercutting his own party?

Tiger Beat on the Potomac (thanks Charlie!) morning email thingie tells us that ZEGS is gonna try, try again, what with the definition of insanity and whatnot!

IF YOU HAVEN’T HEARD YET,House Republicans are trying to pass an immigration bill. They scheduled a vote this week for a “compromise” bill negotiated by moderates and conservatives. Late last night, they dropped an 116-page amendment to that legislation, which would expand the e-Verify program and create a new agricultural guest worker program. This bill is scheduled to get a vote WEDNESDAY, less than two days after the massive 116-page amendment was released. A vote could slip to Thursday — a party meeting this morning will help determine that. Top aides tell us it’s still unlikely this will pass. And the Senate is going to ignore it. So, that’s that. John Bresnahan with the latest amendment, which came out last night

Because you’re gonna need a guest worker to pick the crops that China will not be buying, thanks to Comrade Stupid’s Trade Wars.

They are always focused like a laser beam on shit that will never happen. Woe to the Republic.

HAHAHA, but only yesterday Sarah Hucksterbucks Slanders said they needed Democrats to pass anything so the failure to pass anything is ALL THE DEMOCRATS’ FAULT even when they aren’t being consulted on Republican-only legislation and even when they make agreements with Comrade Stupid on Tuesday and it’s ripped to shreds by Comrade Stupid by Thursday. Also too, Paul Ryan claims he’s ONLY interested in passing things that can be signed by the president, so I guess all those years voting for 50-odd Obamacare appeals while Obama was sitting in the Oval Office were a complete dereliction of his duty, or it’s now he’s committing a dereliction of duty? He’s so confused. Good thing he’s retiring.
