Over Due (Process)

I was asked yesterday what I thought about Hair Fuhrer attacking Due Process:

…and the answer is not much. I think this is another of his diversionary tactics to keep his base up to their necks in white sheets. The hoods they already have.

Besides being written into the US Constitution (our User Guide), there are also centuries of case law that supports Due Process. Whether or not The New Confederacy and the Fourth Reich likes it or not, if you are standing on US Soil (including in embassies), then you have access to the same processes and protections under the law as citizens. I think even the nut jobs with whom they are trying to pack the courts will object to that.

“…We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came.”

Des Moines?

Seriously, the “these people” is as racist a dog whistle as any, and considering that many of our friends and neighbors are Mexican Americans, what Hair Fuhrer is saying is that they are racially profiling. Sooner or later (and maybe they already have) ICE is going to push out an American Citizen, and then all hell will break loose.

And while everyone’s panties were in a bunch over the kidnapping & imprisonment of Central and South American children, (as well they should be!) this happened:

The vote was 85 to 10! Not even close! I am trying to find the roll call, to see if my distinguished (I wish they were EXTINGUISHED!) Dimocrap Senators voted for this unreal and unreasonable increase in military spending, but I’m fairly sure they did.

Also, too: The House voted on a budget for 2019 that cuts about a trillion dollars from SS, Medicare, and Medicaid. While starving the poorest of us, they also desire us to die from not having any access to healthcare. Can’t wait till Nov., but by then it may be too late.

ICE has been wrongfully detaining and removing U.S. citizens for years, and, so far, the only remedy is to go into court and try to get an order requiring ICE to arrange for their return at government expense. No injunctions, no punitive damages, nobody fired or demoted, so it continues. http://www.newsweek.com/ice-accused-wrongly-detaining-hundreds-american-citizens-holding-some-years-906746

Not long ago, one of trump’s idiot lawyers was claiming that since he’s the chief law enforcement official in the country, nothing he does can be illegal. So in addition to treason, kidnapping, money laundering, etc., he now urges violation of due process, the basis of our legal system.

Can we have (at least) impeachment now?
