Kidnapper Stops Kidnapping

NBC Reports:

President Donald Trump, under mounting political pressure from angry members of his own party, signed an executive order Wednesday reversing his administration’s policy of separating children from their parents at the border and allowing families to instead be detained together…

…The order marks an abrupt about-face for the president, who said as recently as Friday that when it came to keeping migrant families together, “you can’t do it through executive order.” He had faced extraordinary pressure from Capitol Hill, even from some of his closest GOP allies, as well as from members of his own family, to end his administration’s policy of separating children from parents who cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally.

Looks like Comrade Trump licked the spoon. But wait! There’s more!

It also remains unclear how the administration will reunite the families that have already been separated at the border.

Until 100% of those kids are back in the arms of their parents, our work is not done here. Keep up the pressure.

It would be irresponsible not to speculate that he’s trying to divide the country on purpose.

    • Speculate? Jeez the dude has come out and said it. Repeatedly. I just thing that the Trumpanzees have a greatly inflated iudea of both their abilities and their numbers if, in Admiral Yamamoto’s words, they ‘awaken the sleeping giant’.

This is the kind of stuff that even get the most apathetic voters out. I suspect (and honestly hope a lot, too) they’ll find out that all those quiet neighbors who don’t talk about politics aren’t just like them…

Careful, we dare not provoke the mighty Trumpanzee legions. They will rise up with guns at the ready, seize another bird sanctuary visitor kiosk, and forget their socks again.

  2. And Vanity Fair is pointing out how it’s already probably headed to court because it violates a 1997 consent decree also at least one WH advisor is going there. Described Stephen Miller as ‘Enjoying this. He’s Waffen SS’

Miller is a deeply damaged psycho and evidently has been since at least high school. He belongs in prison, actually.

The only chance these kids have of being reunited with their family is if an NGO can pick up the pieces. These monsters probably trashed the paperwork.

    If there ever was any.

Expect a distraction soon to push this down the list of what-the-fuck and take advantage of electorate short memory.

Breitbart, RedState, and NRO are depicting this as a contemptible capitulation by Trump. let’s hope we at least get some Trumpanzee infighting out of this.

As for Trump, remember that this is just the biggest and stinkingest of the shitpots he’s stirred. He still has a lot of spoons to lick.

The ONION has a couple of good “articles” on this.

Americans Finally Recognize Own Country Again After President Does Half-Assed Job Walking Back Humanitarian Crimes,

Political Scientists Baffled By Trump’s Ability To End Something He Had No Control Over Just Days Ago,

On a more somber note, Trump’s family separation policy is as damaging to America as Abu Ghraib,

Honestly, how do we recover from this? Who will take us seriously now when we say we are for human rights? Our nation “elected” a vicious fascist whose tactics are right out of the Third Reich.

I guess all we can do is fight back and try to show the World that “resistance is [not] futile.”
