Trump Wants ‘Space Force’ Added to Military as New U.S. Service
President Donald Trump called for a new “Space Force” to be added to the U.S. military as an armed service separate from the Pentagon’s five traditional uniformed branches.
“When it comes to defending America, it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space,” Trump said Monday at a White House event on space policy. “We must have American dominance in space.”
It’s like he thinks he’s finished fucking-up the earth and now he wants to take his grift into space. But on the bright side, imagine what he’d do when the scientists tell him to not open the hatch. Problem solved!
All I can think of is when Chimpy wanted to do this, too/also:
Mars. Needs. Chimpy.
We could arm them with F-35’s.
Those fly in space, right?

The most critical strategic and tactical problem is our enemy’s intransigence on failing to exist in the first place. Raytheon, however, has declared a new type of missile will make it possible to fight this new threat. And–hoo-boy!–it’s gonna be pricey!

I know he don’t care about treaties, because he didn’t sign them, but space as a non-hostile platform was, like, the first treaty hammered out between the US and Russia. Why isn’t he thinking of Russia?

GPS was the “weapon” that won the first Iraqi war. Some form of GPS helps ships and subs find their way at sea; aims and guides missiles to their targets,
Now think how much time would be saved in a close run nuclear exchange if your nukes were already in orbit and ready to be guided toward their target.
