Compare and Contrast

Trump Tries His Hand

Versus:

They both are saying Gimme What I Want or The (Kid/Dog) Gets It. One was funny, and the other is not.

Here’s let’s take a closer look at the policy, as explained by COS John Kelly just to make sure I got it right…

NPR: Family separation stands as a pretty tough deterrent.

Kelly: It could be a tough deterrent — would be a tough deterrent. A much faster turnaround on asylum seekers.

NPR: Even though people say that’s cruel and heartless to take a mother away from her children?

Kelly: I wouldn’t put it quite that way. The children will be taken care of — put into foster care or whatever. But the big point is they elected to come illegally into the United States and this is a technique that no one hopes will be used extensively or for very long.

The “foster care or whatever” seems to be weasel speak for lost, as in, we lost track of where we sent these kids.

I shit you not.

So, the question comes to mind: what is conspiracy theorist Liz Crokin, she of Omet Ping-Pong pizza gate sex-tracking and cannibalism fame saying about her hero Comrade Stupid? You know, they guy she was sure was going to drop the hammer on sex trafficking cannibals, now that he’s lost 1,500 kids?

crickets

UPDATE: But Obama!…

Hair Führer is a monster.

I’m absolutely certain that the Party Of Family Values will jump in and put a stop to this in a heartbeat. I fully expect the same quick and decisive action as we got from the Party Of Pro-Life when they put all their weight behind ending school shootings. And to think, you Libtards call them hypocrites!

This perhaps more than anything else we have done with Immigration is just unbelievable. How can we call ourselves anything but Monsters!
Some Big News Org Needs to make those kids page 1 until they are found and returned to their parents.
I can only presume how far from here many of those kids already are.
This is Not acceptable on any level.
    This is Slavery and worse.

Or in Bountiful, BC (that’s Canada, for those who don’t know who we are). We are in the process for the 11th time it seems to put those old OFBs that insist that 60 years of age, a fine young nubile 13 year old (or 12 perhaps) will make a very fine wife!!

p.s OFB translates to “old fat b-tards”

Yeah, I don’t doubt he likes to get the kids away from their parents. Tiffany doesn’t live in his gaudy trash heap for a reason.

It is pure terrorism, intended to prevent people from lawfully seeking asylum at the U.S. Southern border. The tell is that they are pulling this shit even with families who present themselves at ports of entry to claim asylum, which is technically the correct way to do this.

I understand that the ACLU has suits pending against this practice, which I fervently hope result in injunctions. There are multiple violations of basic due process involved in the practice, to say nothing of the human rights violations. As am immigration attorney I represent many similarly-situated families who are claiming asylum after having been released here. I can’t imagine the logistical impossibility of doing so with a child shipped off to some military facility. The simple fact of the matter is that out Government is denying these people a right they have as non-citizens in the USA. And all because the Orange Asshole wants to nbe able to say “We’re closed” at the US Border.

This deserves the widest possible international condemnation, in addition to raising hell here at home.

Trump’s tweet is signature dishonesty. There is no “law” that requires this. He pulled that out of his ass, which is where the majority of his “thoughts” come from. I’m not surprised that even his depraved DHS Secretary is constantly on the verge of being fired or quitting. Who, with even the most basic knowledge of immigration law could countenance this? If she had any backbone she would just say “Eff You Trump,” and quit. That’ll be the day.

It’s incredible how much they reflexively fall back on the “It’s Obama’s fault” meme too. A failure to take responsibility for one’s own actions is another hallmark of this “Administration.”

We are seeing a chapter of American History as dark as that involving the internment of Japanese-Americans in WWII.”

This chapter is darker than the Japanese internment. We’re not in a major war, these immigrants pose no threat, this is just gratuitously cruel. Losing the children is a crime and people need to be tried and convicted for it.
