Never Forget!

The Hills Are Alive With The Sound of Slaughter

This has been going on too long in our country. Too many years, too many decades now. To the students, families, teachers and personnel at Santa Fe High, we’re with you in this tragic hour and we will be with you forever. My administration is determined to do everything in our power to protect our students, secure our schools, and keep weapons out of the hands of those who pose a threat to themselves and to others.

–This was from Prznint Stupid’s remarks yesterday, following the latest student assassination in Texas. It’s too bad that it’s nothing but bullshit.

Just down the road a bit from Santa Fe High School in Texas is where the NRA held their convention, which Prznint Stupid addressed. It was his fourth year in a row addressing them.  You can click here to see / listen to his remarks, and then know that what he said following the latest school shooting was bullshit, for sure. He had a real chance following the Parkland shooting to actually DO SOMETHING, but the NRA came calling and put the fear of Gun, er, Gawd into him and that was that.

It’s also BS because, well, look at the time stamps. First the tweet Mr. Empathy actually wrote…

…and then the one someone else wrote for him, which I wasn’t going to include, but thought that would be misleading…

…and then how long it takes before he gets back to his usual dithering a bleating; this is the next tweet in his timeline, you know, retweeting a tweet that praised himself:

About 90 minutes is how long he will never forget them.

In his defense, it is possible to deliver prepared remarks and still mourn. And with news this good, it would be hard to justify depriving the folks who gave up so much so that those who suffer from migraines can get relief for not much more than $500/mo. Such selflessness.

    I kid. Dude’s a fucking goldfish.

“About 90 minutes is how long he will never forget them.” For a broke, fat, old, traitorous asshole aging gracelessly into senility, who can contradict himself in a tweet, I think 90 minutes is quite impressive.

See, I feel certain a calcified cerebral cortex is part of the reason Trump is such a damnable fuckstick. About 65% evil machinations and 35% petrified brain cells.

Wow! How long has Steve Forbes been a tool for Trump?

Geography note: The NRA met in Dallas, so a trip “down the road” from there to Santa Fe, Texas, would require a drive down almost the entire 290-mile length of Interstate 45. Houstonians consider Santa Fe an exurb, but it’s more properly a suburb of Galveston.

I’ve run out of snarky things to say about these incidents. At this point I’d rather start tossing water balloons labeled “Thoughts and Prayers” at random Republicans.

Trump’s remarks about the shooting, prepared for him by someone else, were in the usual drab, sleepy, droning monotone he uses on any subject he doesn’t really give a shit about or intend to follow up on with any kind of responsible action. It’s pretty obvious by now even to the casual observer that this idiot can’t even pretend to care when the subject is other than his own personal greatness or victimhood.

yessiree, he’ll do anything/everything he can to protect the students as long as everything/anything is approved by the nra to the benefit of the second amendment supporting gun manufacturers that continue to donate to his preznancy. after all, protecting the influx of money is almost certainly more important that protecting the kids.
