50 Years Ago, Yesterday

…Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated. I saw this clip last night on Twitter and was gobsmacked by it and wanted to share. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before.

    Wow. That was really powerful. I may have seen it when it first aired, but I was a kid then. I don’t remember seeing it since.

    What an eloquent, intelligent, speech maker. WOW! Today, what have we got, PrezNit-Wit Ass Spurs.
    I like that sentence Rev. King said about the Negro being left “bootless”. when the white folks were telling them to pull up their bootstraps. I’m still hearing that today.
