Claim Chowder is Served!

Shoulda put some Quatloos on this…

We will give a rare shout-out to Axios’ Jonathan Swan, who called this exactly right yesterday, down to misrepresenting the Post Office.

We still think it is about someone getting in the way of Comrade Stupid’s grift, and Bezo’s ownership of the WaPo, but that is a nit to pick later.

Could donny be just a tad bit jealous, that Bezo’s wealth is about 100 to 1, compared to the Prez?

Get ready for the next failed business: TrumpEx.

    • Pyed Typer says:

It will combine the worst features of Federal Express with the worst failings of United Parcel Service, and his customers would call it: FedUP!

  3. Steve-O says:

Wasn’t Trump the one who said he was a brilliant businessman because he DIDN’T pay taxes?

Taxes are socialist, stupid. When you cut taxes for billionaires, you have to cut taxes for them all and not all of them but one.

I love the way he capitalizes random Nouns to prove he is NOT ILLITERATE!1! Also No Collusion.

BTW, how does using the postal service “cause tremendous loss to the US”? Last time I mailed a package, I had to pay for it. Moron.

    • MDavis says:

All I can see in the ‘Delivery Boy’ comment is an attempt to make it sound bad that Amazon adds funds to US coffers by ‘Mailing Packages’. ‘Sounds Like’ is all that matters to this ‘Moron’.

  6. buckobear says:

As of 1 April 2017, Amazon collected state tax for 45 states (the other 5 don’t have any). Once again, Preznit Mistaken is.

  7. osirisopto says:

They’ve shorted Amazon stock through a shell company.

I’m sure the brokers, pardon croupiers got a kick out of it at the time, too.

Can 45 cause the stock to tank enough to match their bet?

If they got greedy the Trumps could loose even when they’ve got the table tilted. Especially if Bezo fights back.

  8. RedDirtGirl says:

I have to admit, it does freak me out that almost 1 of every 2 dollars spent online goes through Amazon.

      RedDirtGirl –

Everything about Amazon freaks me out, and there’s a lot of reasons to look into the company (work conditions in the warehouses being a prime example), but paying the USPS to deliver packages is not one of them.

      • MDavis says:

Trump has no problem with working conditions in the warehouse – he may be secretly(?) proud that he beats Amazon’s low wage sweepstakes by refusing to pay his contractors at all. Wages, conditions … Amazon does pay a bit better than surrounding businesses (a by product of setting up warehouses in close-to-desolate areas is that unemployment is higher there and locals are thrilled to get the better-paying work) so Trump might think he is ‘better’ than Amazon there – for a given value of ‘better’/

      • Bruce388 says:

True, the conditions in Amazon’s warehouses don’t sound good. One thing in Amazon’s favor is they hire Americans and that’s more than Trump can say.

Funny, I use the Postal Service as a delivery boy as well. Everybody does.
