Bob Mueller be like…

Robert Mueller thinks that there may have been some sort of a deal between the Trump Organization and the Russians. You know, why would he need so many money laundering experts, amiright?

Anyway, Mueller has now subpoena’ed Trump Org documents relating to whatever counts as bidness in Russia.

N.Y. Times tells us:

“The order is the first known instance of the special counsel demanding records directly related to President Trump’s businesses.”

Comrade Trump has long said that any examination into his bidnesses would be grounds for firing Mueller.

“The Trump administration slapped Moscow with its first sanctions for meddling in the 2016 presidential campaign punishing Russians already indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller.”

So the gang that cannot shoot straight agreed with Muellers findings and validated them with the sanctions yesterday.

Popcorn, anyone?

Anyway, the subpoena seems to be shocking the Villagers, all of whom are asking why didn’t Mueller just politely request the financial documents?

They clearly do not understand how shredders work.

How’s this for a conspiracy theory: All this firing of Cabinet members and hangers-on is just a build-up to Trump firing jeff Sessions, so that it won’t look like he singled out ‘ol Beauregard. Then, whoever replaces the AG will be loyal to Hair Furor, and will fire Mueller, putting an end to the investigation.
That’s where my Quatloos are being wagered.

All that will do is start a Constitutional crisis that will not end well, for anyone.

Yep, my quatloos are riding of the same scenario.
Except that a new AG won’t have to fire Mueller to logjam his investigation.
Not being recused, s(he) could simply take over the oversight of Mueller process and simply grind it all to a standstill with chickenshit bureaucratic meddling, like declining to approve subpoenas and the like.

But Sessions has to go, that’s absolutely key, and Trump can do that using well publicized and long-standing differences that “have nothing to do with Russia” as an alibi.
That will pass muster with his base, and Congress long ago became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trump Inc, so they don’t matter.

Whatever happens, we’re not getting out of this shitshow without a constitutional crisis the like of which has never been seen in the modern era. If we get Bolton in the WH, along with various other hawkish sycophants, we may not get out of it at all.

      • Bolton is as bad as it gets, tho Kudlow will stop Bolton from going to war with Bolivia, Peru or Colombia.

if we thought 1968 was a turning point – we aint seen nothing yet

i predict if Sessions goes – so goes the nation
i cant believe i am saying that about someone who is as loathsome and awful as Beauregard
