    Y’know, they may have been filling a market niche by putting a fly in pantyhose I used to know a fair amount of motorcyclists, & many of them swore by pantyhose for winter riding wear. Dunno what was wrong w/ thermal long johns, maybe they made one’s pants look lumpy (in the wrong places).

    That’s an old damn ad too: “Zone”, not ZIP.

  3. I’ve got fleece-lined tights that are pretty soft and quite warm under dress trousers when the temperature drops to 20F or less. Gendered fashion norms aside, they are damn practical. Although sizing by height for tights is just nonsense. A 5’10” fellow at 160 lbs and one at 250 are hardly going to fit the same pair! One is clearly a D, the other a Q.
