Republican Florida state Rep. Matt Caldwell:
“They’re grieving, I get that. The absolute worst scenario is we go out and ban guns and we tell everybody that we’ve solved this problem and we haven’t.”
“You see I’m wearing the ribbon for Parkland, in their remembrance.”
Hey Matt! you’re an asshole on SO many levels!
You’re dismissive of the grief of young people who witnessed friends and teachers being shot to death.
No one can ban guns in one fell swoop, so making a comprehensive statement like that is ridiculous. Your brash attitude shows your ignorance and failure to understand what the students and at least 66% of Americans are asking for.
You wearing a ribbon “in remembrance” is a huge slap in their faces and a testament to your hypocrisy.
So shut up and go back to tell your constituents what you actually plan to do: nothing.

How. Dare. He.
Doesn’t he know the terrorists will see that as a win?
