Interim Security: Lock ’em Up!

Trump vs. Trump?

It might be easier to list who in the Fourth Reich has a security clearance than list those who don’t. CNN tells us…

Nearly a year into President Donald Trump’s administration, senior-level staffers — including Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner and Rob Porter — remained on interim clearances even as other senior advisers were granted full security access, according to information obtained by CNN from a US government official.”

Now, you might be wondering, well, so what? Rob Porter as we know, was the guy whose job was to sift through reports and assembled which documents to give to The Russian Usurper to (not) read (he much prefers King Friday XIII to act out the briefings), and clearly he was seeing stuff he should not have seen. And as Chief of Staff Kelly is learning, Porter was indeed compromised by his past and his lies to Kelly show why this is significant.

“There were more than 100 staffers in the Executive Office of the President who were operating on interim clearances more than a year after Trump was elected, according to the information.”

…which we can conclude means that there are 100+ people who might be compromised, though it is unclear if they are stuck in a backlog or if they are unable to be cleared.

Also/Too: didn’t Comrade Trump cynically use the news of security lapses around email to club his opponent? Were they not chanting Lock Her Up and accusing Clinton of being a traitor because WikLeaks (and the Russians, let us not forget) got the much-coveted Podesta Bolognese recipe?

But I digress.

“Chief economic adviser Gary Cohn, presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway, deputy chief of staff Johnny DeStefano, communications director Hope Hicks and policy adviser Stephen Miller had all received full top-level clearances by November, according to the information.”

If PeeWee Hermann Goerring could get a security clearance, and Jared Kushner could not… the mind boggles. How will Fratsputin bring peace to the middle east if he cannot access the information from our spies, er, diplomats in the region?

Look, here’s the deal. Many of these people will not be able to do their jobs because they will not be cleared to look at all of the information they need. Maybe we should be thankful, given the work that they are doing destroying our government from within, that they cannot get their compromised mitts on a clearance?

Yeah.

I’m guessing Jared’s faulty memory about his foreign contacts, along with the crushing debt he’s incurred with his idiotic real estate acquisitions, have torpedoed his chances of a security clearance. The fact he hangs around with his daddy-in-law doesn’t help.

Jared will never get a full security clearance because he is up to his eyeballs in the Russian sabotage of our election and especially because he has been extensively involved in Russian money laundering like his father-in-law. Sooner than later, they will both be wearing orange jump suits and making license plates.

I don’t even have a car, and I would buy a license plate from Jared and the Orange Menace (worst Ska band ever).

Many/all of these people are unable to do their jobs regardless of what information they can access.

It apparently doesn’t matter whether or not they have clearance. Obviously, Porter was getting his grubby mitts on all that secret stuff. Why wouldn’t we believe that everyone else is seeing all the super secret stuff that they actually shouldn’t be?
