Will Comrade Trump Testify Under Oaf?

Why it only seems like just the other day that Comrade Stupid was telling us that he was looking forward to having a nice chat with Bob Mueller, under oath, and now we learn that Stupid’s mean ol’ lawyers won’t let him:

“His lawyers are concerned that the president, who has a history of making false statements and contradicting himself, could be charged with lying to investigators.”

As a public service, we will translate from the NYTimes weasel-speak:

“Sweet Jeebus, No! You think we’re as stupid as our imbecile client? Dude isn’t able to tell you his favorite color without lying. Dude lies so often Elmira Gantry Huckabee-Sanders is in awe. Dude hold the land-speed record for lying.”

Which really comes down to our next crisis: will Mueller subpoena Preznint Comrade Stupid? The SCOTUS ruled 9 to 0 in Jones v. Clinton that presidents are not exempt from civil lawsuits.

While it is true that a subpoena to appear before a Grand Jury is different from a civil lawsuit, but one might think that it counts as a legal precedent; if Preznint Stupid or his lawyers decide to fight it will land on the SCOTUS to decide. Majesty of the law and all that rot, but they a 5-4 advantage and most of that 5 are sycophants to their party, and you can bet that Gorsuch took a Trumpian loyalty oath.

He was looking forward to talking with Mueller under oath as much as he was gone pay that contractors invoice.

The checks in the mail, I lost the invoice, the receptionist didn’t send it, I don’t remember getting an invoice, your work was substandard, did we have a contract?, I don’t recall, who are you?, I meant to send it, I’ve got a cash flow problem.

I think Muller should pull a Captain Kirk in the Wrath of Khan and do a press conference and announce he is laughing at the “Superior intellect” of the “Stable genius”, that should goad the orange idiot into testifing.

Cheney could show them how it’s done.

Hopefully his lawyers will become more and more insistent that he not submit to an interview with Mueller. Trump has a history of ignoring his lawyers’ advice (which is why he has a B-list legal team — I mean, that and the fact that he doesn’t pay his bills) and everyone in the White House knows that whatever you tell Trump not to do, that’s the thing he’s going to do, to show you you’re not the boss of him.

Maybe his oppositional-defiant disorder will find him sitting in a room alone with Bob Mueller’s team with an open-ended interview and none of his own layers present.

We should all start publicizing that if Comrade Stupid won’t have a sit-down with Bob, then he’s scared. “A little scaredy cat” With tiny hands.
