Marco Rubio: A Portrait in Courage

Deep thoughts from Marco Rubio

Tiger Beat on the Potomac (thanks Charlie!) tells us that gang-banger wannabe Marco Rubio is not playing that immigration game:

“I don’t believe that what we’re going to end up doing here can be a product of a gang,” Rubio said. “There won’t be a 12-person gang. What we do here cannot be a product of a group of people that come out of a room and say: ‘This is a direction we’re going.’”

Marco ‘Big Gulp’ Rubio, the Cold Warrior for a New Generation, and beloved grandson figure of Wingnuts over the age of 65 and under the age of death, was a member of the 2013 Gang of Eight who wrote an immigration bill that passed the Senate with 14 Democrats voting for it.

You may recall this:

…which led to all the speculation that he was gonna run (in his high-heeled booties) in the 2016 Goat Rodeo. But then sumpin’ happened: Weepy McDrunky didn’t take up the bill. Just like Paul Ryan won’t take up an immigration bill that originates from the Senate.

I know I’m reading tea leaves here, but if an opportunist like Li’l Marco isn’t sucking, remora-like, onto immigration, it is even more dead than I think it is.
