Happy Robbie Burns Nicht

January 25 is the poet Burns’ birthday, and the traditional dinner of haggis accompanied by bagpipes is the proper observation.

    Yeah, the scotch is a wonderful thing (Glenmorangie aged in a port barrel, thx), but I actually like haggis, or at least what passes for haggis here in the US (it’s illegal to serve the ‘lights’ here).

    Haggis in Scotland is wonderful. Served with Neeps and Tatties (Turnips and Potatoes) and followed by a fine Single Malt Scotch. Heaven! If you are ever in Edinburgh go to the Castle Arms. Just down from the Castle and Highly recommended.
