Jerusalem is expanding future plans for a high-speed train to reach the Western Wall, and there are rumors one of the stations will be named after Trump.
Israel’s transportation minister is reportedly moving forward with the expansion plans for the soon-to-be-opened high speed rail, as two underground stations will be constructed involving the excavating of over two miles of tunnel beneath downtown Jerusalem.
“The Western Wall is the holiest place for the Jewish people, and I decided to call the train station that leads to it after President Trump following his historic and brave decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel,” Yisrael Katz told the Jerusalem Post on Wednesday.
